Customer area

A customer area is the collection of zones that, together, cover an area with a certain share of the sales in the most efficient way, that is, with the smallest number of zones according to an ordering principle. You can define a customer area as a filter option on the platform and is typically used for campaign targeting purposes.

Take for example the following customer area: 0% - 80% real sales ordered by real sales per mailbox. This customer area is created by first arranging all zones in descending order by KPI real sales per mailbox and secondly selecting those zones below a certain cutoff value for KPI real sales so we achieve 80% of the real sales. Consequently, since the ordering criterion here is real sales per mailbox in descending order, the zones with the highest real sales per mailbox were selected first to reach the 80% cutoff value.

You can apply this to one single location, that is, only take the sales of one single location into consideration. Or you can apply this to several locations or even the entire network by taking the sales of all your own locations into consideration.
