# KPI

KPI is an abbreviation for 'Key Performance Indicator'. This concept is used to define all indicators that can explain the performance of a location. There are different groups of KPIs defined within the application:

-   Sales KPIs such as market share, average basket ...
-   **Competition KPIs** such as number of competitors or total competitive weight
-   **Potential KPIs** such as market potential
-   **Socio-demographic KPIs** such as number of inhabitants, wealth index...
-   **Location DNA** {or micro environment indicators} such as visibility, cross-visit potential...
-   **Drivetimes** between zones and competitors / locations
